CA thanks BCCI on successful tour

Cricket Australia (CA) wrote an open letter thanking the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the Indian players and the fans for the successful completion of India's tour to Australia under strict Covid conditions and bio-bubble restrictions.

In social media, Cricket Australia said they would be forever grateful to the BCCI .The CA has admitted that it would not have been possible to hold such a high voltage bilateral series without the friendship, trust and commitment of the Indian Cricket Board.

The CA said in the letter that world cricket was impressed with the performances of newcomers Shubhaman Gill and Cameron Green along with veterans like Pat Cummins, Jaspreet Bumrah, Ajinkya Rahane and Steve Smith during last 9 weeks..

However, both sides were heated over the racist remarks, including the quarantine. Even Rahane's camp was furious at Brisbane's strict quarantine rules and regulations.

"Despite the many public health and logistical challenges, the BCCI engaged with a spirit of cooperation befitting their status as one of international sport's greatest ambassadors.” claimed by CA

India's tour of Australia started nearly two months back with three ODIs which the visitors lost 1-2 before pocketing the T20 series 2-0.
